Onset School of Music helps individuals of all ages discover their inner musician. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons in a professional studio setting with highly-educated, experienced working musicians. All of our lessons are specifically designed with your needs and interests in mind. Our goal is not only to guide you to move forward with your music ability but to keep it fun. Since practice is essential, why not enjoy doing it?!
Private Lessons
We understand the importance quality instructors are to our students. All of our instructors are well versed in music theory, ear training, chords and scales, technique and arranging. Lessons are customized to individual needs, levels and particular musical interests, all while learning the songs you want to play!

Take advantage of our discount by committing to one lesson per week for a full month. Payments are due in advance.
Our Cancellation Policy
We realize that people’s schedules can get very complex and sudden illness can result in cancellations. In fairness to our students and in an effort to keep our school running on a regular schedule with consistency in lessons and payment of instructors, we have a formal cancellation policy, as follows:
24-Hours Notice Cancellations
We allow ONE (1) cancellation per month if you notify us 24 hours prior to your lesson. This will give us time to let the instructor know, and he/she might be able to schedule another student during that time or avoid an unnecessary trip to the studio. We can try to schedule a makeup lesson if requested, before your next scheduled lesson.
Fewer Than 24-Hours Notice Cancellations
We pay our teachers for same day cancellations. However, in the event of a cancellation with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, we will do our best to arrange a makeup lesson. If a makeup lesson is not possible before the next scheduled appointment, we must charge for the missed lesson.
