Moira is a pianist, singer, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Houston, TX. She moved to the Boston area in 2012 to study music and liberal arts at Brandeis University. Locally, she has performed with groups at venues such as The Middle East, Les Zygomates, Wally’s, and several others and has played all throughout New England and NYC.
Moira has experience in a wide range of genres such as pop, jazz, r&b, classical, and Brazilian-derived genres such as MPB and bossa nova. She also frequently works as a Music Director for musical improv comedy troupes.
Moira has been teaching since 2014 for ages 4 to 65 and loves watching students grow and develop their unique passions.
